Cakra Wisata

Jurnal Cakra wisata merupakan jurnal pariwisata dan budaya yang diterbitkan oleh Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pariwisata dan Budaya (PUSPARI), Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. Tema pariwisat dan budaya merupakan dua tema yang memiliki keterkaitan erat. pariwisata merupakan bentuk dari budaya yang mampu berkembang menjadi komoditas menarik yang tidak hanya untuk mencari keuntungan ekonomi tetapi juga melestarikan budaya masyarakat. Jurnal Cakra Wisata diharapkan mampu menjadi wadah bagi pengembangan pariwisata dan budaya secara bersamaan dan saling mendukung.

Cakra Wisata Journal is a tourism and cultural journal published by the Center for Research and Development of Tourism and Culture (PUSPARI), Institute for Research and Development for Communities (LPPM) Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. The theme of tourism and culture are two themes that are closely related. tourism is a form of culture that is able to develop into an attractive commodity that is not only for economic gain but also for preserving the culture of the community. It is hoped that Cakra Wisata journal will become a forum for the development of tourism and culture simultaneously and support each other.

Caraka Tani: Journal of Sustainable Agriculture publishes original articles, review articles, case studies and short communications in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Agricultural Journals (Asosiasi Jurnal Pertanian Indonesia - AJPI). This journal has two issues in a year and it will be published in April and October.

  

Caraka Tani: Journal of Sustainable Agriculture is an international scientific journal focused on sustainable agriculture. Referring to its name Caraka Tani (Caraka : messenger; Tani : farmer, farming, agriculture), Caraka Tani has a mission to convey the messages to the world, especially in the developing countries, for carrying out agriculture practices in a sustainable manner by paying attention to 3 main aspects of sustainability; namely: environmental health, economic profitability, and social and economic equity. These aspects are expected to be applied with regard to resources, uniqueness and specific wisdom of every region. Other aspects are also welcome as long as it can be applied in developing countries. This journal covers research in the following areas: agricultural conservation, agricultural ecology, organic farming, agro biodiversity permaculture covering the economic aspects of sustainable agriculture (agribusiness, social-economic agricultural issues, agricultural development, agroindustry), agricultural diversification, soil and water conservation, soil quality and health, agricultural climate, food security, animal welfare, and integrated pest and disease control biologically.

 

To implement the quality assurance of the journal, the editorial board members were invited from various countries, such as Indonesia, Ghana, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Malaysia, and India. Meanwhile, the authors so far are from many countries such as Indonesia, Ethiopia, Philippines, Belgium, Nigeria, Tanzania, South Africa, Pakistan, South Korea, Tunisia, Ghana, Malaysia, Japan, Bangladesh, Nepal, United Kingdom, India, and Australia. Peer reviewers who have worked in the editorial process come from 36 countries; Indonesia, Rwanda, Nigeria, Tunisia, Ghana, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Africa, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Islamic Republic of Iran, Romania, Serbia, Italy, Poland, Spain, Belgium, Hungary, Russian Federation, Czech Republic, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Australia, United States, Mexico, and Brazil.

 

Caraka Tani: Journal of Sustainable Agriculture has been accredited for five years as scientific journal based on Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia SK No 204/E/KPT/2022 dated 3rd October 2022 (Vol. 36 No. 2 October 2021 until Vol. 41 No. 1 April 2026, see certificate) and indexed in SINTA 1.

 

Caraka Tani: Journal of Sustainable Agriculture has been also accepted and listed in ScopusDirectory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International (CABI).

Center of Middle Eastern Studies (CMES)

CMES: Center of Middle Eastern Studies is a journal published by the Arabic Literature Department, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Surakarta. This journal was initially published as a scientific activity of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Faculty of Language, Letters and Fine Arts (FSSR) of UNS, established on the Decree of the Dean of FSSR Number 2545/H27.1.1/KP/2009 dated 17 April 2009 and as a motivator for the establishment of the Arabic Literature Department. On establishing the Arabic Literature Department under the Decree of DIKTI Number 1762/02.2/2010, dated July 2, 2010, in its management, this journal became a routine academic activity of the Arabic Literature Department.

The journal CMES contains scientific articles in the form of research results or literature reviews related to Middle Eastern studies in the social, political, cultural, literary, and language fields. The Middle East regions are the main object of study from the perspective of various social, political, and humanities disciplines.

The journal published in June and December has the following objectives:

  1. Developing the scholarship and insights of the academic community and researchers on the Middle Eastern regions from various perspectives.
  2. Publishing the academic community’s research results and, generally, the researchers’ studies and scientific developments.
