Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Manajemen Redaksi Pada Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa Cendekia

Perkembangan teknologi telah merevolusi cara kerja lembaga pers dengan mendukung mereka untuk melakukan pengumpulan, pemrosesan, dan penyebaran informasi menjadi lebih cepat, lebih luas dan lebih mudah. LPM Cendekia dalam perannya sebagai wadah pengembangan wawasan dan kemampuan bagi kader IMM Surakarta di bidang jurnalistik turut memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi melalui media digital sebagai media perluasan informasi mereka. Meskipun demikian pemanfaatan teknologi dalam bentuk sistem informasi belum maksimal dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perancangan dan pembangunan sistem informasi berbasis website yang dapat digunakan untuk mendukung kinerja lembaga dalam melakukan proses manajemen data liputan, manajemen data personil, serta manajemen tulisan berikut dengan portal pengajuan tulisan. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development yang terdiri dari empat tahapan proses yaitu requirement planning, system designing, system prototyping dan implementation. Implementasi dilakukan dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework Laravel, mySQL dan bootstrap. Hasil pengujian blackbox dan System Usability Scale (SUS) memberikan kesimpulan bahwa sistem informasi berhasil dikembangkan dengan baik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan kepuasan pengguna.

Abstract
Technological developments have revolutionized the way press agencies work by enabling them to make information gathering, processing and dissemination faster, wider and easier. LPM Cendekia in its role as a forum for developing knowledge and skills for IMM Surakarta cadres in the field of journalism also takes advantage of technological developments through digital media as a medium for expanding their information. However, the use of technology in the form of information systems has not been maximized. This study aims to design and build a website-based information system that can be used to support institutional performance in the process of reporting data management, personnel data management, and writing management along with a writing submission portal. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development method which consists of four stages of the process, namely requirements planning, system designing, system prototyping and implementation. Implementation is done with the PHP programming language, Laravel framework, MySQL and bootstrap. The results of blackbox testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS) conclude that the information system has been successfully developed to meet user needs and satisfaction.
