Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran LIGEKA_21 Disertai Google Earth Terhadap Critical Spatial Thinking Peserta Didik SMA
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of LIGEKA_21 learning model on students' critical spatial thinking. This research is a quantitative research with quasi experimental method and nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Teras Boyolali. The research sample was taken randomly, in this study the sample used was class XI-E as the experimental class and class XI-G as the control class. Data collection techniques using unstructured interviews, observation, tests in the form of descriptions, and documentation. Indicators used in measuring students' critical spatial thinking ability use six indicators developed by Huynh and Sharpe (2013) which include analysis, comprehension, representation, spatial relationship, scale, and application. The data analysis technique uses the Independent Sample T-Test with a significance level of 5%. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the LIGEKA_21 model on critical spatial thinking of students assisted by Google Earth media. This is evidenced by the results of the Independent Sample T-Test test calculation which has a sig. (2 tailed) value of 0.000.
