Penerapan Project Based Learning Berbasis Video Podcast untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas X Fase E2 SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' motivation to learn history through the application of the podcast video-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consists of planning implementation, observation, and reflection of action. The subjects in this study were students of class X Phase E2 SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta, totaling 36 students. The source of data came from the results of observations and questionnaires. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and questionnaire. The data validity test used method triangulation and data source triangulation. Data analysis used interactive and descriptive model analysis. The results showed that the application of learning with a video podcast-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can increase students' history learning motivation. This is indicated by an increase in the percentage of 71.53% in the pre-cycle, increasing to 74.39% in cycle I, and increasing to 81.94% in cycle II. the achievement of the percentage of student history learning motivation has exceeded the target of the predetermined research achievement indicator of 75%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model based on video podcasts can increase the motivation to learn history of students in class X Phase E2 SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta.
