Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe MURDER dengan Media Digital untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Hasil Belajar Sejarah Siswa

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to increase critical thinking skills and historical learning outcomes for students of class X IPS 1 of SMA N 5 Surakarta by using cooperative learning models type MURDER with digital media.
This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this research were students of grade X IPS 1 of SMA N 5 Surakarta amount 36 students. Data sources of this research were teachers, students, and learning activities in the classroom. The research begins with planning, then carrying out actions and observations, and ends with reflection. The triangualation techniques used are method triangulation and source triangulation.
The results showed that: (1) The application of the cooperative learning model type MURDER with digital media can increase the critical thinking skills of students of class X IPS 1 in SMA N 5 Surakarta. This result can be seen from the average percentage of the achievement of questionnaire indicators in the pre-cycle stage is 62.88%, increased to 70.03% in first cycle. The results increased again in second cycle amounting to 76.85%. These results have reached the specified target of ≥75%; (2) The application of the cooperative learning model type MURDER with digital media can increase the learning outcomes of students of class X IPS 1 in SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta. These results can be seen through the percentage of completeness of the post-test results that reach the KKM. In the pre-cycle stage, the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes is 38.89%, then increased in the first cycle to 71.43%, and again increased again in the second cycle to 79.41%. The conclusion of this research is the application of cooperative learning model type MURDER with digital media can increase critical thinking skills and historical learning outcomes of students in class X IPS 1 at SMA N 5 Surakarta.
