Museum Karst Indonesia Sebagai Media dan Sumber Pengembangan Materi Sejarah Masa Praaksara Kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Wonogiri
Abstract
This research used method qualitative with descriptive approach. Data in this research from informants, places, documents. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data collection techniques from interviews, observation and document analysis. The validity data used is source triagulation and method triangulation. Data analysis uses an internal analysis model that is the interaction of three components (data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing) with data collection.
Results of this research: (1) Indonesian Karst Museum was built to facilitate research, study and conservation of the Gunung Sewu karst area. In the karst landscape of Gunung Sewu there are artifacts of past life that need to be considered and preserved. The development of the Indonesian Karst Museum was initiated by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono with the issuance of presidential instruction number 16 on cultural development and tourism policies. Based on these instructions, in 2008 the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Geological Agency together with the Central Java Provincial Government and the Wonogiri Regency Government agreed to realize the establishment of the Indonesian Karst Museum;(2) Collections of the Indonesian Karst Museum relating to pre-literary historical material include: (a) Replica of the Song human kerangaka and Keplek Song in Pacitan. (b) Replication of the Pawon Human Framework. (c) Paintings on the walls of the Muna karst area in Southeast Sulawesi. (d) Replication of the Homo Floresiensis framework in Liang Bua Cave; (3) The Indonesian Karst Museum is relevant to used as media and source of historical learning, especially the history material of class X praaksara in basic competencies analyzing the similarities and differences between early Indonesian humans and the world with modern humans in physical aspects.
