Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Role Playing dengan Media Novel Sejarah untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI IPS 5 SMA N 6 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019

Abstract

The research aimed to improve the activeness and learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS 5 Surakarta Senior High School 6 in 2018/2019 academic year through the implementation of cooperative learning models of type role playing with media historical novels.

This research is a Classroom Action Research. The data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. To test the validity of the data, the author uses source triangulation. The data were analyzed using descriptive comparative analysis techniques to compare the values and activeness of students before the action was taken or after the action was taken.

According to the finding of the study, it could be concluded that: 1) The application of cooperative learning models of role playing with historical novel media has proven to be effective in increasing student activeness, 2) Application of cooperative learning models of role playing with historical novel media can improve student learning outcomes marked by improvement classical completeness, 3) Application of cooperative learning models of types of role playing with historical novel media can improve the process of learning history in students.
