Pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai PT PLN Purworejo

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the effect of the work environment on employee performance, 2) the effect of work discipline on employee performance, and 3) the effect of work environment and work discipline simultaneously on employee performance at PT PLN Purworejo. This research is quantitative research with a survey method. The population in this study were all outsourced employees at PT PLN Purworejo, totalling 132 employees. The sampling technique used is probability sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, and archives. The data analysis technique used a prerequisite test and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) there was a positive and significant effect of the work environment on the performance of PT PLN Purworejo employees. It is evidenced by the value of tcount greater than ttable (3.174>1.998); 2) There is a positive and significant effect of work discipline on the performance of PT PLN Purworejo employees. It is proven by the value of tcount greater than ttable (5,921>1,998), and 3) There is a positive and significant effect of work environment and work discipline simultaneously on the performance of PT PLN Purworejo employees. It is proven by the value of fcount greater than ftable (31,729>3.14). The value of the coefficient of determination is 0.486. This means that the work environment (X1) and work discipline (X2) affect employee performance by 48.6%. At the same time, 51.4% are influenced by other factors that are not examined.
