PENGARUH POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DAN PERGAULAN TEMAN SEBAYA (PEER GROUP) TERHADAP KEDISIPLINAN SISWA KELAS XI PROGRAM KEAHLIAN OTOMATISASI DAN TATA KELOLA PERKANTORAN SMK NEGERI 3 SURAKARTA TAHUN AJARAN 2018/2019

Abstract

 ABSTRACT

This research aims to find out: (1) the the influence of parenting on students’ discipline; (2) the influence of peer group relations on students’ discipline; and (3) the influence of both parenting and peer group relations on students’ discipline. This study used descriptive quantitative methods. The sample selected amounted to 54 students class XI Office Automation and Management Specialty in SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta on the academic year 2018/2019 used proportional random sampling techniques. Data analysis used comparative analysis techniques and multiple linear regression. The analysis prerequisite test using normality, linearity, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the research showed that (1) there was a positive influence between  parenting on students’ discipline; (2) there was a positive influence between peer group association on students’ discipline; (3)  there were a positive influence between both parenting and peer group association on students’ discipline.
