Abstract

Abstract:  Social welfare institution for children is one of the child protection agency that serves to provide protection for the rights of children. In addition, the social welfare institution for children is also combined with a means of learning Islam and applicative skills training activities. As efforts in tackling poverty and equitable distribution of welfare for children in Surakarta, social welfare institution for children is present to provide an opportunity for the orphans and dhuafa to get caregiving generating children that educated, skilled, immoral, and noble character according to the word of Allah to glorify and improve the situation of orphans in QS Al Baqoroh, 2: 220. Islamic architecture showing the application of elements of Islam through the beauty that is rich in meaning and each details contain elements of symbolism and meaning. One of the meanings of the Islamic architecture is shown a sense of admiration of the beauty and aesthetics of the architecture is inseparable from the resignation and surrender to the Majesty of Allah as the owner of all the essence of beauty.
