PENGARUH SIFAT MACHIAVELLIAN DAN KECERDASAN SPIRITUAL TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN ETIS GURU AKUNTANSI

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this study are to examine: (1) the influence of machiavellianism toward the ethical decision of accounting teachers; (2) the influence of spiritual quotient toward the ethical decision of accounting teachers; (3) the influence of machiavellianism and spiritual quotient toward the ethical decision of accounting teachers. The research design was ex-post facto. The population and sample in this study were accounting teachers in region X, totaling 50 accounting teachers. The sampling technique was convenience sampling. The data collection technique was in the form of questionnaire and the data analysis used descriptive statistics analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The validity and reliability test of the instrument used SPSS software for windows version 16. The results of this study shows that the machiavellianism influences the ethical decision of accounting teachers as indicated by significance value of 0.002 (Sig < 0.05), spiritual quotitent influences the ethical decision of accounting teachers as indicated by significance value 0,022 (Sig < 0,05), machiavellianism and spiritual quotient influences the ethical decision accounting teacher as indicated by significance value 0.001 (Sig < 0.05). The equation model for multiple linear regression analysis of this study is Y = 7653 - 0,416 X1 +0,486 X2. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan ex-post facto. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah guru akuntansi di wilayah X yang berjumlah 50 guru akuntansi. Teknik pengumpulan sampel yang digunakan yaitu convenience sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dan analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan software SPSS for windows versi 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sifat machiavellian berpengaruh terhadap keputusan etis guru akuntansi ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002 (Sig < 0,05), kecerdasan spiritual berpengaruh terhadap keputusan etis guru akuntansi ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,022 (Sig < 0,05), sifat machiavellian dan kecerdasan spiritual secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap keputusan etis guru akuntansi ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001 (sig < 0,05). Model persamaan analisis regresi linear berganda dalam penelitian ini yaitu Y = 7,653 - 0,416 X1 + 0, 486 X2. Kata kunci : Sifat Machiavellian, Kecerdasan Spiritual, Keputusan Etis
