PENGARUH MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR AKUNTANSI DASAR SISWA SMK DENGAN PERILAKU BELAJAR SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to examine: (1) the influence of learning motivation on basic accounting learning achievement; (2) the influence of learning motivation on student’s learning behavior; and (3) the influence of learning motivation on basic accounting learning achievement through student’s learning behavior. Based on theory of planned behavior, intention is assumed to capture motivation factor that influence behavior in order to achieve a goal. The research method used is ex-post-facto research. The population of this research were all students of accounting expertise program of State Vocational High School. The samples of this research were 60 students in Grade X, 60 students in Grade XI, and 58 students in Grade XII of accounting expertise program who were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling method. Data collection techniques used were documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis used in this research is path analysis. The results showed that: (1) there was an influence of learning motivation on basic accounting learning achievement; (2) there was an influence of learning motivation on student’s learning behavior; and (3) there was an influence of learning motivation on basic accounting learning achievement through student’s learning behavior. Keywords: basic accounting learning achievement, learning motivation, student’s learning behavior Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji: (1) pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi dasar; (2) pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap perilaku belajar siswa; dan (3) pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi dasar melalui perilaku belajar siswa. Berdasarkan teori perilaku yang direncanakan, niat diasumsikan untuk menangkap faktor motivasi yang memengaruhi perilaku untuk mencapai suatu tujuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian expost-facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa program keahlian Akuntansi SMK. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 siswa kelas X, 60 siswa kelas XI, dan 58 siswa kelas XII yang diambil menggunakan metode proportionate stratified random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi dasar; (2) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap perilaku belajar siswa; dan (3) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi dasar melalui perilaku belajar siswa.
