UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF SISWA MELALUI MODEL SELF DIRECTED LEARNING BERBANTU MEDIA GOOGLE CLASSROOM PADA PEMBELAJARAN AKUNTANSI KEUANGAN DI SMK

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence regarding the improvement of students' cognitive abilities in learning financial accounting through the Self Directed Learning learning model assisted by Google Classroom media in SMK. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, with the procedures covering the stages of action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class XI AKL 1 which consisted of 20 students. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, and documentation. Data validity uses content validity. Data analysis used comparative descriptive statistical techniques for quantitative data and critical analysis techniques for qualitative data. Research performance indicators, namely 75% of students are included in the good category. The results of this study indicate that the Self Directed Learning model assisted by Google Classroom media can improve students' cognitive abilities. Cognitive ability of students in the first cycle as many as 13 students or by 65% included in the good category, and increased in the second cycle as many as 16 students or by 80% included in the good category. Keywords: Cognitive Ability, Self Directed Learning, Google Classroom ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empiris mengenai peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran akuntansi keuangan melalui model pembelajaran Self Directed Learning berbantu media Google Classroom di SMK. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan prosedur meliputi tahap perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI AKL 1 yang terdiri dari 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan validitas isi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif komparatif untuk data kuantitatif dan teknik analisis kritis untuk data kualitatif. Indikator kinerja penelitian yaitu 75% siswa termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui model Self Directed Learning berbantu media Google Classroom dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa. Kemampuan kognitif siswa pada siklus I sebanyak 13 siswa atau sebesar 65% termasuk dalam kategori baik, dan meningkat pada siklus II sebanyak 16 siswa atau sebesar 80% termasuk kategori baik.
