UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW BERBANTUAN MEDIA WORD SQUARE

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to obtain empirical evidence regarding the increase in learning activeness of student in class X AKL SMK through the application of the cooperative model learning Jigsaw assisted by paired word square media. This research was a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students in class X AKL of Vocational High School, totaling 19 students. The data collection techniques used in this study are observations and interviews. Data validity test used was methods and sources triangulation. Data analysis techniques of this research are descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. This research has decided the key performance indicators 75% from the whole students who could get the category of active. The results of this research indicated that the application of the cooperative model learning Jigsaw assisted by paired word square media can increase activeness to learn. In the pre-action, it was obtained that the percentage of students who reached the activeness indicator in the active category was 5.26% from the number of students with the activeness indicator of 39.75%. In the first cycle, the percentage of students who achieved activeness in the active category increased to 26.31% from the number of students with an activeness indicator of 58.99%. In cycle II, the percentage of students who achieved activeness in the active category increased to 100% from the number of students with an activity indicator of 80.41%. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris mengenai peningkatan keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas X AKL SMK melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan media word square. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X AKL SMK yang berjumlah 19 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Uji validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi metode dan sumber. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Indikator kinerja pada penelitian ini sebesar 75% dari keseluruhan peserta didik mencapai kategori aktif . Hasil penelitian pratindakan mencapai indikator keaktifan dalam kategori aktif sebesar 5,26% dari jumlah peserta didik dengan indikator keaktifan sebesar 39,75%. Pada siklus I persentase peserta didik yang mencapai keaktifan dalam kategori aktif mengalami peningkatan menjadi 26,31% dari jumlah peserta didik dengan indikator keaktifan sebesar 58,99%. Pada siklus II persentase peserta didik yang mencapai keaktifan dalam kategori aktif mengalami peningkatan menjadi 100% dari jumlah peserta didik dengan indikator keaktifan sebesar 80,41%.
