HUBUNGAN FAMILY FINANCIAL EDUCATION DAN PERILAKU KONSUMSI MEDIA INFORMASI DENGAN TINGKAT LITERASI KEUANGAN SISWA SMK

Abstract

ABSTRACT

This research aims to investigate the correlation between  1) family financial education with financial literacy level of vocational students; 2) information media consumption behavior with the financial literacy level of vocational students; 3) family financial education and information media consumption behavior with financial literacy level of vocational students.This research used the descriptive correlational research method. The population in this research involved all students of accounting and finance programs totaling 214 students. The sample taken by using simple random sampling technique. The data collection used a test technique for financial literacy level and questionnaires technique for family financial education and information media consumption behavior. The data of the research were analyzed by using the product moment correlation and and multiple correlation.The results showed that 1) there is a positive and significant correlation between family financial education and financial literacy level of vocational students; 2) there is a positive and significant correlation between information media consumption behavior and financial literacy level of vocational students; 3) there is a positive and significant correlation between family financial education and information media consumption behavior with the financial literacy level of vocational students.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara 1) family financial education dengan tingkat literasi keuangan siswa SMK; 2) perilaku konsumsi media informasi dengan tingkat literasi keuangan siswa SMK; 3) family financial education dan perilaku konsumsi media informasi dengan tingkat literasi keuangan siswa SMK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa program keahlian khusus akuntansi dan keuangan yang berjumlah 214 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes untuk nilai literasi keuangan, angket untuk skor family financial education dan perilaku konsumsi media informasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis koefisien korelasi product moment dan korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara family financial education dengan tingkat literasi keuangan siswa 2) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara perilaku konsumsi media informasi dengan tingkat literasi keuangan siswa 3) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara family financial education dan perilaku konsumsi media informasi dengan tingkat literasi keuangan siswa.
