HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERSEPSI TENTANG PROFESI GURU DAN EFIKASI DIRI (SELF EFFICACY) DENGAN MINAT MENJADI GURU AKUNTANSI PADA MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN AKUNTANSI UNIVERSITAS SEBELAS MARET

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is the correlation between: 1) the perception of teaching as a profession with the interest in becoming a teacher of Accounting Education Students Sebelas Maret University; 2) self-efficacy with the interest in becoming a teacher of Accountung Education Students Sebelas Maret University ;3) the perception of teaching as a profession and self-efficacy with the interest in becoming a teacher of Accounting education Students Sebelas Maret University. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with ex post facto type of research. The results of this research are as follows: First, there were a positive and significant correlation between the perception of teaching as a profession with the interest in becoming a teacher of Accounting education Students Sebelas Maret University. This state indicated by the significant value of simple correlation 0,014 (sig < 0,05). Second, there were a positive and significant correlation between self-efficacy with the interest in becoming a teacher of Accounting Education Student Sebelas Maret University. This state indicated by the significant value in simple correlation of 0,031 (sig < 0,05). Third, there were a positive and significant correlation between students the perception of teaching as a profession and self-efficacy with the interest in becoming a teacher of Accounting education Students Sebelas Maret University. This state indicated by the significant value of F test, 0,012 (sig < 0,05).

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara: 1) persepsi tentang profesi guru dengan minat menjadi guru akuntansi pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi Universitas Sebelas Maret; 2) efikasi diri dengan minat menjadi guru akuntansi pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi Universitas Sebelas Maret; 3) persepsi tentang profesi guru dan efikasi diri dengan minat menjadi guru akuntansi pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi Universitas Sebelas Maret. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: Pertama, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara persepsi tentang profesi guru dengan minat menjadi guru akuntansi pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi Universitas Sebelas Maret. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi pada korelasi sederhana sebesar 0,014 (Sig < 0,05). Kedua, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan minat menjadi guru akuntansi pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi Universitas Sebelas Maret. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi pada korelasi sederhana sebesar 0,031 (Sig< 0,05). Ketiga, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara persepsi tentang profesi guru dan efikasi diri dengan minat menjadi guru akuntansi pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi Universitas Sebelas Maret. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi pada uji F 0,012 (Sig < 0,05).
