UPAYA PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MELALUI PENERAPAN STAD BERBANTU WORD SQUARE PADA SISWA SMK

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research was to obtain empirical evidence regarding the increase in accounting learning results of students in class SMK through the application of the cooperative learning model type “Student Teams Achievement Division” (STAD) using word square media in basic accounting subjects.This research used a classroom action research (CAR). The subject of this study was students of class X Ak 1 in SMK which consist of 36 students. The data collection techniques that used by the writer are tests, observations, and documentation. They were validated by using validation content. This research was considered successful when it reached the research performance indicator, which was 75%. this research was conducted in two cycles. The results of this research indicate that through the application of  STAD using word square media can improve student learning results. Learning results include three aspects, which were affective aspect, cognitive aspect and psychomotor aspect. Student learning results in affective increased in the second cycle to 83.33%. Cognitive aspects of student learning results increased in cycle II to 80.56%. Student learning results on psychomotor increased in cycle II to 80.56%.

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empiris mengenai peningkatan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa SMK melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) berbantu word square pada mata pelajaran akuntansi dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK yang terdiri dari 36 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunkan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan validitas isi. Indikator kinerja penelitian yaitu 75%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan STAD berbantu word square dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar meliputi tiga aspek yaitu aspek afektif, aspek kognitif dan aspek psikomotorik. Hasil belajar siswa aspek afektif meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 83,33%. Hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 80,56%. Hasil belajar siswa aspek psikomotor meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 80,56%.
