HUBUNGAN KECERDASAN LOGIS-MATEMATIS DAN EFIKASI DIRI DENGAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR TINGKAT TINGGI PADA PEMBELAJARAN AKUNTANSI

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The objectives of this research are to investigate correlation between (1) logical-mathematical intelligence and high order thinking skill, (2) self-efficacy and high order thinking skill, and (3) simultaneous correlation of logical-mathematical intelligence and self-efficacy with high order thinking skill. This research used associative research method. Its population was the students as many 104 in Grade XI of Accounting Department. Simple random sampling was employed to determine its samples. The data of the research were collected through observation, documentation, test, and questionnaire. They were analyzed by using the Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation and   Multiple Correlation. The results of the research are as follows (1) the logical-mathematical intelligence had a positive correlation with the high order thinking skill (0,533 > 0,230),  (2) there is no correlation between the self-efficacy with the high order thinking skill (-0,125 < 0,230), and (3) the logical-mathematical intelligence and the self-efficacy had a positive correlation with the high order thinking skill (0,555 > 0,230).

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara (1) kecerdasan logis-matematis dengan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, (2) diri dengan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, dan (3) kecerdasan logis-matematis dan efikasi diri dengan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian asosiatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah  siswa kelas XI jurusan akuntansi sebanyak 104  siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, tes, dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan korelasi Product Moment dan hubungan ganda. Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) terdapat hubungan positif antara kecerdasan logis-matematis dengan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (0,533 > 0,230), (2) tidak terdapat hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (-0,125 < 0,230), dan (3) terdapat hubungan positif antara kecerdasan logis-matematis dan efikasi diri dengan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (0,555 > 0,230).
