KEEFEKTIFAN DESCRIPTIVE FEEDBACK TERHADAP MOTIVASI PADA PEMBELAJARAN AKUNTANSI DI SMK

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The objective of this research is to examine the differences in the effectiveness of descriptive feedback on motivation in accounting learning at State Vocational High School. This research used the quasi experimental research method with non-equivalent control group design. Its population was all of the students as many as 324 of Accounting Expertise Program of State Vocational High School. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine its samples. The selected samples of the research were the students in Grade X AK 2 as control class and those in Grade X AK 3 as experimental class. Each of which consisted of 36 students. The data of the research were collected through questionnaire and documentation. The data of the research were analyzed by using the independent sample t-test. The result of the research shows that there was a differences in the effectiveness of descriptive feedback on motivation in accounting learning at State Vocational High School as indicated by the value of sig. (2-tailed) < α (0.000 <0.05). The students who get descriptive feedback teratment had a better motivation in accounting learning than those with evaluative feedback. Students who get descriptive feedback treatment will have higher self-confidence and interest in learning accounting than those who do not get descriptive feedback treatment.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perbedaan keefektifan descriptive feedback terhadap motivasi pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dengan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik program keahlian akuntansi di SMK yang berjumlah 324 peserta didik. Sampel yang terpilih adalah kelas X AK 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X AK 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang masing-masing berjumlah 36 peserta didik dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.  Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan keefektifan descriptive feeedback terhadap motivasi pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat melalui hasil pengujian hipotesis yang menunjukkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed)<α (0,000<0,05). Motivasi peserta didik yang mendapat descriptive feedback lebih baik daripada motivasi peserta didik yang mendapat evaluative feedback. Melalui pemberian descriptive feedback, rasa percaya diri dan minat peserta didik terhadap akuntansi lebih baik daripada rasa percaya diri dan minat peserta didik yang tidak mendapat descriptive feedback.
