Abstract

ABSTRACT

The objective of this research is to improve participation in Basic Accounting lesson of the students in Grade X AKL 2 of X Vocational High School through the application of the cooperative learning model type Team-assisted Individualization (TAI) assisted by Wondershare Quiz Creator. This research is a classroom action research. It was conducted in two cycles, and each cycle consisted of four stages, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation (3) observation, and (4) analysis and reflection. Its subjects were the female students as many as 26 in Grade X AKL 2 of X Vocational High School. The data of the research were collected through test, observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. They were validated with content validity technique. The minimal performance indicator was 80%. The result of the classroom action research shows that the application of the cooperative learning model type Team-assisted-Individualization (TAI) assisted by Wondershare Quiz Creator could improve participation in Basic Accounting lesson of the students in Grade X AKL 2 of X Vocational High School. The average percentage of the learning participation in the pre-cycle was 40.29%. Following the treatments, it became 59.13% in Cycle I and 81.73 in Cycle II respectively. Thus, the application of the learning model could improve the students’ learning participation

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan partisipasi pada pembelajaran akuntansi dasar siswa kelas X AKL 2 SMK X melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) berbantu Wondershare Quiz Creator. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X AKL 2 SMK X yang terdiri dari 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik uji validitas data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah validitas isi. Penelitian akan  berhasil apabila mencapai indikator kinerja penelitian sebesar 80%. Proses pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdapat dua kali pertemuan yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: (1) perencanaan tindakan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan interpretasi, (4) analisis dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) berbantu Wondershare Quiz Creator dapat meningkatkan partisipasi pada pembelajaran akuntansi dasar siswa kelas X AKL 2 SMK X. Rata-rata persentase pada tahap pra tindakan sebesar 40,29% meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 59,13% dan kembali meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 81,73% membuktikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajan ini dapat meningkatkan partisipasi belajar peserta didik.
