PENGARUH SELF ASSESSMENT TERHADAP MOTIVASI PADA PEMBELAJARAN AKUNTANSI

Abstract

ABSTRACK
This study aimed to test whether there was any impact from the influence of self assessment towards students learning motivation on accounting in one of SMK in Surakarta. The type of research was quasi-experimental research. The population of this research was the XI grade of accounting department. The Grade XI 1 and 3 selected as the samples through cluster random sampling method. The data collection were gained by using questionnaires and documentation. To gain the data analysis using descriptive anal-ysis and inferential analysis (prerequisite test analysis and hypothesis test). Moreover the validity of data was obtained through validity and reliability test. The results showed that there was a positive result of the influence of self assessment on student learning motivation evidenced by the acquisition of the T-test value = 2,432 (p = 0,018). The students who were taught with self assessment had higher motivation than those with teacher assessment. The N-Gain data regarding the motivation of students in accounting learning in the experimental class has higher average than the controled class. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was positive result as the influence of self assessment towards student learning motivation on ac-counting.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji ada tidaknya pengaruh self assessment terhadap motivasi pada pembelajaran akuntansi di salah satu SMK Negeri di Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperi-men semu (quasi-eksperimental research). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI Akuntansi. Sampel yang terpilih adalah kelas XI Akuntansi 1 dan kelas XI Akuntansi 3 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial (uji prasyarat ana-lisis dan uji hipotesis). Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif self assessment terhadap motivasi peserta didik yang dibuk-tikan dengan perolehan nilai uji t = 2.432 (p = 0,018). Peserta didik yang dibelajarkan menggunakan self assessment memiliki motivasi lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik yang dibelajarkan menggunakan teacher assessment. N-Gain mengenai motivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran akuntansi di kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ter-dapat pengaruh yang positif self assessment terhadap motivasi pada pembelajaran akuntansi di salah satu SMK Negeri di Surakarta.
