HUBUNGAN LITERASI KEUANGAN DAN KUALITAS PELAYANAN DENGAN PERILAKU MENABUNG MAHASISWA

Abstract

ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research are to examine: (1) the correlation between the financial literacy and the students’ saving behaviors; (2) the correlation between the service quality and the students’ sav-ing behaviors; and (3) the correlation of the financial literacy and the service quality to the students’ sav-ing behaviors. Its population consisted of 128 students. Proportionate stratified random sampling was em-ployed to determine 97 students as the samples of the research. The data of the research were collected through test, questionnaire and documentation. The results of the research are as follows: Firstly, there is a positive correlation between the financial literacy and the students’ saving behaviors as indicated by the value of correlation coefficient of (r)= 0.777, at the significance value of 0.000<0,05. Secondly, there is a positive correlation between the service quality and the students’ saving behaviors as shown by the value of correlation coefficient (r) = 0.635, at the significance value of 0.002<0,05. Thirdly, there is a positive correlation of the financial literacy and the service quality to the students’ saving behaviors signified by the value of rx1.x2.Y= 0.801, and the correlation model of Y = 27.179 + 0.122 X1 + 0.253X2 which was statisti-cally significant.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji: (1) hubungan literasi keuangan dengan perilaku menabung mahasiswa (2) hubungan kualitas pelayanan dengan perilaku menabung mahasiswa; (3) hubungan literasi keuangan dan kualitas pelayanan secara bersama-sama dengan perilaku menabung mahasiswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 128 mahasiswa. Sampel dipilih sebanyak 97 mahasiswa dengan teknik pro-portionate stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertama, terdapat hubungan positif antara literasi keuangan dengan perilaku menabung mahasiswa dengan (r) 0,777 dan signifikansi 0,000<0,05. Kedua, tedapat hubungan positif an-tara kualitas pelayanan dengan perilaku menabung mahasiswa dengan (r) 0,635 dan signifikansi 0,002<0,05. Ketiga, terdapat hubungan positif antara literasi keuangan dan kualitas pelayanan secara bersama-sama dengan perilaku menabung mahasiswa dengan rx1.x2.Y= 0,801 dan model hubungan Y = 27,179 + 0,122 X1 + 0,253X2 signifikan secara statistik.
