UPAYA PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR AKUNTANSI MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK-TALK-WRITE PADA SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN

Abstract

ABSTRACT
The study's aim is to improve the learning outcomes of accounting through the application of Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model to students of SMK Y. The study was a classroom action research conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. Subjects in this study were students of class XI Accounting SMK Y, amounting to 21 stu-dents. Sources of data in this study came from informants, events and documents. Techniques for the valid-ity of data used triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis used statistically descriptive quanti-tative and comparative models interactive for qualitative data. Performance indicator of this research was 75% of students obtained the results of the studying amounting to 80. The results concluded that the learn-ing model of TTW could improve the learning result of accounting. This was evidenced in cycle I and cycle II that the learning outcomes had increased and could be seen in the average value and percentage of completeness in each cycle. The minimum completeness in this research was 80, in cycle I the average val-ue obtained is 81.19 with the percentage of completeness 57.15%, whereas in cycle II the grade average value increased to 90.48 with the percentage of 85.71%. The test supported by the result of T-Test (Paired Sample T-test)that showed t-value is bigger then t-table (13,92 ≥ 2,08) and it can be concluded that the result of the student had a significant increase before implementing Think Talk Write learing model, and the after implementing Think Talk Write learning model.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar akuntansi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) pada siswa SMK Y. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Akuntansi SMK Y yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari informan, peristiwa dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawacara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik untuk keabsahan data digunakan trianggulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis data menggunakan statistk deskriptif komparatif kuantitatif dan model interaktif untuk data kualitatif. Indikator kinerja penelitian ini sebesar 75% peserta didik memperoleh hasil belajar yaitu sebesar 80. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran TTW dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar akuntansi. Hal ini dibuktikan pada siklus I dan siklus II bahwa hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan dan dapat terlihat dalam nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan pada setiap siklus. Ketuntasan minimum dalam penelitian ini sebesar 80, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 81,19 dengan persentase ketuntasan 57,15%, sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 90,48 dengan persentase 85,71%. Hal tes juga didukung oleh hasil uji-t (paired sample t-test) yang menunjukkan t-value lebih besar daripada t-tabel (13,92 ≥ 2,08) dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan antara sebelum penerapan model pembelajaran TTW dengan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran TTW.
