PENGARUH SOFT SKILLS TERHADAP KESIAPAN KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA SMK

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to obtain empirical evidence (1) the influence of communication skills on students work readiness; (2) the influence of teamwork skills on students work readiness; (3) the influence of leadership skills on students work readiness and (4) the influence of communication, teamwork and leadership skills on students work readiness at Vocational High School. This research is a survey research with a correlational quantitative approach. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis with multiple regression. The results of this study shown in the value of the t- test results with p -value < 0.05, so concluded (1) there is a significant influence of communication skills on students work readiness; (2) there is a significant effect of teamwork skills on students work readiness; (3) there is a significant effect of leadership skills on students work readiness; (4) there is a significant effect of communication, teamwork and leadership skills on students work readiness at Vocational High School; (5) The value of the coefficient of determination of 0.582. The results of this study are expected to be able to encourage school to link and match with industry to find out soft skills needed in work. . ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris (1) pengaruh communication skills terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa; (2) pengaruh teamwork skills terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa; (3) pengaruh leadership skills terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa; (4) pengaruh communication, teamwork dan leadership skills terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dengan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan semua variabel memiliki nilai p- value < 0,05 sehingga disimpulkan (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan communication skills terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa; (2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan teamwork skills terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa; (3) terdapat pengaruh signifikan leadership skills terhadap kesiapan kerja; (4) terdapat pengaruh signifikan communication, teamwork dan leadership skills terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK. Hasil uji F dengan nilai p- value < 0,05; (4) nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,582. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu mendorong sekolah untuk melakukan link and match dengan industri terkait dengan soft skills yang dibutuhkan dalam dunia kerja.
