PEMBERDAYAAN MAYARAKAT MELALUI KEGIATAN BINA DESA MANDIRI PASCA PANDEMI COVID

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic resulted in a mess, especially in Indonesia. Many sectors affected due to government’s regulations regarding the virus: the massive unemployment occurred, the unfulfilled education, the existing crowd not obeying health protocols, and so on. Looking at these problems appeared in Pangulah Selatan village, Karawang city, West Java province, the actions to prevent more suffering people are orchestrated: conducting a community service and taking care of livestock in Salamul Huda Mini boarding school, making hand sanitizer and mask, and doing book charity in RA. Al-Ikram. The aims are to grow the spirit of Pangulah selatan people, to overcome the downfall of the village and to provide an awareness of Covid-19. The results of the activities are varied: some giveaway masks and hand sanitizers, some posters regarding the dangerousness of Covid-19, and the enhancement of people’s awareness regarding Covid-19.
