STRATEGI PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DESA DALAM MENUNJANG PEMBANGUNAN DAERAH

Abstract

In supporting the local area development, the village people participation and empowerment are required. The empowerment program is directed more on the village people considering many problems the village people encounters either knowledge, skill, facility or economic ability problems. The village people involvement from the beginning stage includes planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating stage. The strategy of village people empowerment should take into account both the principles and the methods of people empowerment. The village people empowerment program should be supported by the leadership role and by exploring the local society’s value.
