Intervensi Sosial Berbasis Ecological Citizenship Guna Meningkatkan Pro-Environmental Behavior pada Kelompok Siswa Kelas IV SDIT Kasih Ibu Karawang

Abstract

Perubahan iklim merupakan isu global yang dampaknya dirasakan oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat dan memerlukan tindakan kolektif termasuk dari siswa sebagai salah satu agen perubahan yang dapat memberikan aksi nyata melalui perilaku pro-lingkungan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perilaku pro-lingkungan melalui ecological citizenship menggunakan pendekatan experiential learning di SDIT Kasih Ibu Karawang, Jawa Barat. Program diimplementasikan melalui metode praktik lapangan, ceramah yang ditunjang dengan materi tertulis, pemberian lembar kerja yang relevan, serta video edukasi. Terdapat 36 siswa yang menjadi peserta program pengabdian. Pre-test dan Post-test dilakukan menggunakan skala perilaku pro-lingkungan. Uji keberhasilan dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas program menggunakan metode  paired sample T-Test. Hasil uji menunjukkan terjadi perubahan signifikan dengan nilai p < 0.05, serta nilai effect size 0.289 yang tergolong rendah. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa program pengabdian efektif dalam meningkatkan perilaku pro-lingkungan, meskipun dengan dampak yang relatif kecil. Program intervensi selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperkuat keterlibatan keluarga dan komunitas dalam mendukung perubahan perilaku, serta memperpanjang durasi intervensi.
