SEMAR Journal is a community service journal published and managed by the Institute for Research and Community Service, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. This journal is expected to be a tool of information and socialization regarding the results of the dedication of the entire academic community to various kinds of innovations and solutions to multiple problems in society.

Articles published in the SEMAR Journal can be in the form of research-based Community Service activities such as Participatory Action Research, Asset-Based Community Development, Community-Based Research, Service Learning and Community Development.

1. The time from submission to the first decision: +- 3 weeks
2. The time needed for the authors to revise: +- 2 weeks
3. The time from acceptance to publication: +- 4 days

Jurnal SEMAR  has been accredited by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic Indonesia with Third Grade ( SINTA 3 ) since year 2022 to 2027 according to the decree No. 72/E/KPT/2024
