Abstract

The function of the yard as a source of family food needs decreases along with the limited yards. The community service program aims to increase optimization of the utilization of the yard in a sustainable way with theĀ  vegetable plants cultivation on verticulture system and hydroponic system through a gardening community. The method is used socialization, discussion, training and mentoring. The results obtained are the partners can produce organic vegetables for consumption, seed/seedlings of vegetables and fruits, organic fertilizers and seeds of ornamental plants. Event partners may for example modeling vertikulture cultivation of vegetables and hydroponic systems . Between members of the community share their experiences and exchange gardening seeds or seedlings
