Penerapan Model Discovery Learning dengan Pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Belajar IPAS Peserta Didik Kelas III

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in the learning activities of Natural and Social Sciences students through the application of the discovery learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level approach. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research subjects in class III B at SD Negeri Mangkuyudan which amounted to 23 students. The data collection technique used in this study was observation technique. The research instrument was an observation sheet for learning activeness. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis where the data obtained from 2 cycles of learning implementation will be categorized and described in more detail. Based on the results of the research conducted, it is found that the discovery learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level approach can increase the learning activeness of IPAS students in class IIIB. This increase can be evidenced from the percentage of IPAS learning activeness in each cycle has increased. Where in cycle I it was 49.48% which was in the low category, then in cycle II it increased to 80.38% which was in the high category.
