HUBUNGAN ANTARA INTERNAL LOCUS OF CONTROL DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI DENGAN KEJENUHAN AKADEMIK PADA MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN AKUNTANSI

ABSTRACT

This study was conducted to determine whether there is a relationship between internal locus of control and achievement motivation with academic burnout among Accounting Education students. Using a quantitative correlational design, 184 Accounting Education students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sebelas Maret, were selected via simple random sampling. Data collection utilized Google Forms online questionnaires. The instrument underwent expert judgment, Pearson Product Moment, and Cronbach's Alpha testing, while fulfilling classical assumptions tests of normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. Data processing applied simple correlation, multiple correlation, and coefficient of determination. Findings confirm a significant relationship between internal locus of control and achievement motivation with academic burnout.

ABSTRAK

Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara locus of control internal dan motivasi berprestasi dengan kejenuhan akademik pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi. Penelitian kuantitatif berdesain korelasional ini melibatkan 184 mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Sebelas Maret, yang ditentukan melalui simple random sampling. Proses pengumpulan data memanfaatkan kuesioner daring Google Forms. Instrumen penelitian diuji menggunakan penilaian ahli (expert judgement), Pearson Product Moment, dan Cronbach’s Alpha, serta memenuhi prasyarat normalitas, linearitas, multikolinearitas, dan heteroskedastisitas. Pemrosesan data menerapkan korelasi sederhana, korelasi berganda, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil kajian mengonfirmasi keterkaitan signifikan antara locus of control internal dan motivasi berprestasi dengan kejenuhan akademik.
