Jurnal Materi dan Pembelajaran Fisika is an open-access peer-reviewed research journal that is published by Physics Education Department of Universitas Sebelas Maret in collaboration with Physical Society of Indonesia (PSI). This journal has two issues in a year and it will be published in May and November.

Jurnal Materi dan Pembelajaran Fisika is providing a platform that welcomes and acknowledges high-quality empirical original research papers about education written by researchers, academicians, professionals, and practitioners from all over the world.

Jurnal Materi dan Pembelajaran Fisika was established in 2011 with the ISSN number: 2089-6158 and ISSN (online) 2620-3944 in 2017. Initially, this journal was published through the website address: https://jurnal.fkip.uns.ac.id/index.php/fisika. In 2017 there was a transfer of data and publications to this website.
