Author Guidelines

  1. The Journal of Midwifery in Community (JMC) accepts community service articles in the health sector. These articles can cover the management of potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems found in communities, particularly concerning child and women's health across the life cycle.

Articles published are selected by the editorial board based on review results. Articles must not have been published elsewhere previously. To ensure publication quality, the JMC editor may format the articles without altering their substance. JMC accepts articles in both Indonesian and English.

The manuscript title should be followed by the authors' names and affiliations. Authors' names must be written in full, with the First Name followed by the Last Name. Academic degrees may be included (select the two highest degrees). Superscript numbers should be placed after each name to refer to the respective authors' affiliations.

The abstract should be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced, and must not exceed 250 words. Please avoid using acronyms, abbreviations, or symbols in the abstract. The abstract should convey both qualitative and quantitative information and include 3-5 keywords related to the abstract's substance.

Articles must be written in MS Word, using Times New Roman, 12 pt font, and single spacing. Paper size should be A4, with top, bottom, and right margins of 2.5 cm, and a left margin of 3.0 cm. The first line of each paragraph should be indented by 1 cm.

Manuscripts should be saved in MS Word format and submitted online via https://jurnal.uns.ac.id/jmc. Authors need to register to obtain a username and password for login.

The manuscript should consist of the abstract, introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments (if any), and references. The number of tables, figures, mathematical equations, and chemical reactions should correspond to their citations in the text. If necessary, authors can submit image files separately (in jpeg, gif, tiff, or png format) for editing purposes.

Citations and references should follow the AMA Manual of Style, 11th Edition.
