Journal of Applied Economics in Developing Countries (JAEDC) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Master of Economics and Development Studies, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. It published twice a year (March and September). JAEDC is an open access and peer-reviewed journal that aims to offer an international academic platform for Economic research particularly in developing countries.
JAEDC focuses on economics, business, and management in developing countries studies and presents developments through the publication of articles and research reports. This journal warmly welcomes contributions from scholars of related disciplines. Novelty and recency of issues, however, are the priority in publishing.
To implement the quality assurance of the journal, the editorial board members were invited from various countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Australia. Meanwhile, the authors are from many countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Spain, Poland, Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Tanzania, and Nigeria. Peer reviewers who have worked in the editorial process come from many countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Libya.

JAEDC: Deciding to Increase the Publication Fee & Number of Articles |

Journal of Applied Economics in Developing Countries (JAEDC) has decided to increase the number of articles published in each issue from 6 to 10 articles in order to accommodate the growing number of quality submissions and to broaden the dissemination of research in applied economics. In addition, the Article Processing Charge (APC) has been adjusted from IDR 500,000 to IDR 700,000 per article. This policy has been effective since March 2026 to support publication quality, including editorial services, DOI maintenance, and overall journal management. |
