Tingkat Kesiapsiagaan Masyarakat Pada Daerah Rentan Bencana Tanah Longsor di Kecamatan Madukara Kabupaten Banjarnegara

Muhmmad Ridwanulloh

Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of community preparedness for landslides and to analyze community-based landslide risk reduction efforts in Madukara District. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing survey methods and sampling techniques tailored to the characteristics of the study area. The study population comprised villages located in landslide-prone zones within Madukara District, Banjarnegara Regency. Units of analysis included the local community, village government, and relevant agencies. Data were collected through interviews, field observations, data interpretation, and the use of secondary data. Data validity was verified via triangulation, comparing various sources and data collection techniques. The results indicate that individual and household preparedness levels fall into three categories: unprepared, nearly prepared, and prepared. The "unprepared" group possesses knowledge regarding landslides, yet their understanding remains limited. In the "nearly prepared" category, the community understands landslide characteristics, though not comprehensively. Meanwhile, the "prepared" group possesses knowledge and understanding of disaster risks, yet the practical application of this knowledge for preparedness requires further improvement. Risk reduction measures that can be implemented include enhancing disaster training and education, installing evacuation route signage, developing early warning systems, and carrying out reforestation in areas with high landslide susceptibility.
