Studi Kajian Dampak Perubahan Tutupan Lahan terhadap Kejadian Banjir di Daerah Aliran Sungai

Abstract

Laju perubahan tutupan lahan di berbagai wilayah Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) di Indonesia telah mempengaruhi pola hidrologi dan meningkatkan frekuensi serta intensitas kejadian banjir. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak perubahan tutupan lahan terhadap kejadian banjir di Indonesia. Data dari berbagai DAS di Indonesia, diikutsertakan untuk memahami hubungan antara perubahan penggunaan lahan dan risiko banjir melalui analisis sitematik review. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alih fungsi lahan dari hutan dan vegetasi alami ke lahan pertanian, perkebunan, dan urbanisasi meningkatkan aliran permukaan dan mengurangi kapasitas retensi air tanah, sehingga memperbesar risiko banjir. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pengelolaan lahan yang berkelanjutan dan strategi mitigasi banjir berbasis ekosistem untuk mengurangi dampak negatif perubahan tutupan lahan terhadap kejadian banjir. Rekomendasi kebijakan meliputi pengelolaan DAS dari bagian hulu hingga hilir melalui peningkatan perlindungan kawasan hutan, rehabilitasi lahan terdegradasi, dan implementasi praktik penggunaan lahan yang ramah lingkungan dan manajemen multisektor terpadu.
