DOSIS PUPUK KANDANG DAN UMUR PANEN PADA PRODUKSI KANGKUNG BABY (IPOMOEA REPTANS)

Abstract

Research aims to assess the yield of baby kale that can be consumed almost all of the parts and generate inorganic manure free. Field experiment was conducted at  Sindon Village, Ngemplak, Boyolali in September to October 2016. The experiment design was Randomized Complete Block Design 4 x 2 factorial, these are dosage of manure (0, 6, 8, and 10 ton/ha) and the age of harvest (16, 20, and 24 days after sowing/DAS). Variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, internode length, fresh and dry weight of plant, leaf area index, and harvest index. The result showed that age of harvest have significant influence to plant height, internode length, the number of leaves, leaf area index, fresh and dry weight of plant and harvest index. Manure doses just influence to the dry weigh of plant only. Manure dosage of 10 ton / ha and harvest age of16 DAS produce baby  kale that can be consumed almost on all parts of the plant with the highest harvest index that is equal to 0.83.
