Sebuah Eksplorasi Optimisme Wanita Infertil Ditinjau dari Koping Religius Positif dan Komunikasi Pasangan
Abstract
Stres pada wanita infertil dapat berpengaruh pada hasil negatif pengobatan, sehingga diperlukan adanya perasaan positif selama menjalani pengobatan yaitu optimisme. Optimisme dapat dicapai dengan adanya strategi koping yang adaptif dan membangun sebuah komunikasi yang terbuka dan berkualitas di antara pasangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara koping religius positif dan kualitas komunikasi pasangan dengan optimisme wanita infertil. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan instrumen penelitian berupa skala optimisme, skala koping religius positif, dan skala kualitas komunikasi pasangan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 50 responden wanita terdiagnosis infertil pada sebuah klinik fertilitas di Surakarta, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa koping religius positif dan kualitas komunikasi pasangan secara bersama-sama dapat memunculkan optimisme pada diri wanita infertil (p = 0,000), dengan kontribusi sebesar 37,8%. Di samping itu, analisis secara parsial menemukan bahwa tanpa adanya kualitas komunikasi pasangan, koping religius positif menjadi tidak berhubungan signifikan dengan optimisme (p = 0,103). Sebaliknya, tanpa adanya koping religius positif, kualitas komunikasi pasangan masih berhubungan secara signifikan dengan optimisme (p = 0,032). Dengan begitu, faktor eksternal, khususnya peran suami dalam membangun komunikasi yang berkualitas selama masa pengobatan menjadi sesuatu yang dianggap lebih esensial bagi wanita infertil dalam memunculkan optimisme.
