Hubungan antara Optimisme dan Efikasi Diri dengan Flow pada Atlet Mahasiswa
Abstract
Mahasiswa sebagai atlet menghadapi tantangan berupa tuntutan untuk berprestasi di bidang olahraga yang ditekuni serta beban akademik. Meskipun memiliki tantangan lebih, kegiatan olahraga yang ditekuni atlet mahasiswa menyediakan kondisi yang sesuai untuk flow. Optimisme menyediakan kondisi psikologis yang positif dan menjadi salah satu variabel yang dapat menjadi pemicu flow. Selain itu, keterlibatan individu pada sebuah kegiatan hingga tercapai kondisi flow dapat ditentukan dari tingkat efikasi diri individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah terdapat hubungan antara optimisme dan efikasi diri dengan flow pada atlet mahasiswa. Menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, penelitian ini melibatkan 108 atlet mahasiwa sebagai subjek. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala flow, skala optimisme, dan skala efikasi diri. Hasil analisis data penelitian menemukan adanya hubungan signifikan antara optimisme dan efikasi diri dengan flow dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05) dan nilai Fhitung sebesar 25,574 (Fhitung > Ftabel = 3,08). Hasil uji korelasi parsial menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara optimisme dengan flow (p=0,00<0,05; r=0,526) dengan sumbangan sebesar 19,94%. Hubungan signifikan juga ditemukan antara efikasi diri dengan flow (p=0,00<0,05; r=0,474) dengan sumbangan sebesar 11,95%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara optimisme dan efikasi diri dengan flow pada atlet mahasiswa secara simultan.
