Hubungan Antara Persepsi Tentang Gaya Mengajar Guru dan Disiplin Belajar Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out: 1) whether there is a relationship between perceptions of teacher’s teaching styles and learning achievement in history on student class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono in the academic year 2017/2018; 2) whether there is a relationship between the discipline of learning and learning achievement in history on student class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono in the academic year 2017/2018; 3) whether or not there is a relationship between perceptions of teacher’s teaching styles and collective disciplines of learning with learning achievement in history on student class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono in academic year 2017/2018.This research type is quantitative research with correlational research design. The population was all students of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono in academic year2017/2018. The sample consisted of 98 students from a population of 135 students. Sampling is done by proportional random sampling technique. The data was obtained through questionnaire and test. The questionnaire and test instrument are previously tested for its validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used are correlation analysis, simple regression, and multiple regression to determine relative contribution and effective contribution.
The conclusions of research are: 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between students' perceptions of the teacher's teaching style and the learning achievement of history in the XI IPS class of SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono. Based on multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) it is known that tcount> ttable, which is2.439> 1.988 and significance value <0.05 i.e 0.017 with a relative contribution of 43.2% and an effective contribution of 14%. 2) there is a positive and significant relationship between discipline of learning and the learning achievement of history in the XI IPS class of SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono. Based on multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) it is known that tcount> ttable, which is3.059> 1.988 and significance value <0.05 i.e 0.003 with a relative contribution of 56.8% and an effective contribution of 18.4%. 3) there is a positive and significant relationship between students' perceptions of teacher’s teaching styles and collective discipline of learning to learning achievement in the XI IPS class of SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono. Based on the analysis of variance in multiple linear regression (F-test), it is known that Fcount> Ftable, which is 22.743 > 3.09 and a significance value <0.05 i.e 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.324. It means the relationship given by the combination of students’ perceptions of the teacher's teaching style and the discipline of learning with the learning achievementof history in class XI IPS of SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono is 32.4%, while 67.6% is influenced by other variables.
