Hubungan Antara Pemahaman Sejarah Nasional Indonesia dan Intensitas Penggunaan Media Sosial Dengan Sikap Integrasi Nasional
Abstract
The purpose of this research are: 1) To find out the relationship between understanding Indonesian national history with national integration attitudes of grade IX students of social studies of SMA Negeri 1 Kartasura in the even semester of 2019. 2) To find out the relationship between the intensity of social media use with national integration attitudes of grade IX students of social studies of SMA Negeri 1 Kartasura in the even semester of 2019. 3) To find out the relationship between understanding Indonesian national history and intensity of social media use all together towards national integration attitudes of grade IX students of social studies of SMA Negeri 1 Kartasura in the even semester of 2019. The type of research used is quantitative research with correlational research design. The population in this study are all students of grade IX students of social studies of SMA Negeri 1 Kartasura in the academic year 2018/2019. The research sample aggregated to 108 students from a total population of 180 students. Sampling is done by a proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used to collect data consisted of historical understanding tests, student social environment questionnaires, and national integration attitude questionnaires. Trials to test and questionnaire instruments included validity and reliability tests. Analysis prerequisite tests include normality tests and linearity tests. The data analysis techniques used are correlation analysis, simple regression, and multiple regression.
The conclusions of this research are: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between understanding Indonesian national history and national integration attitude. Based on multiple linear regression analysis (uji t), it is found that tcount > ttable, 4,340 > 2,367 and significance value < 0,10 with a relative contribution of 57,83% and effective contribution of 16.25%. 2) There is a negative and significant relationship between students’ social environment and national integration attitude. Based on multiple linear regression analysis (uji t), it is found that tcount > ttable, namely -3.571 > -2.3367 and significance value < 0.10 with a relative contribution of 42.17% and effective contribution of 11.85%. 3) There is a relationship between history understanding and the social environment of students together with national integration attitude. Based on the analysis of multiple linear regression variance (uji F), it is found that Fcount > Ftable, namely 20,515 > 2,35 and the significance value < 0,10. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.281 indicates that the magnitude of history understanding and social environment of students towards national integration attitude is 28.1%, while the remaining 71.9% attitudes towards national integration of students are influenced by other factors.
