Agrotechnology Research Journal (Agrotech Res J) was established in 2017 through a collaboration between the Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) and the Indonesian Agrotechnology/Agroecotechnology Society (Perkumpulan Agroteknologi/Agroekoteknologi Indonesia - PAGI).The journal was founded to provide an open-access platform aimed at disseminating research related to agrotechnology.

• 2017 (Inception and First Volume): Launched its inaugural issue (Vol. 1, No. 1) in 2017 as a peer-reviewed biannual journal, publishing twice a year (June and December).
• Publisher Collaboration: Partnered with the Indonesian Agrotechnology/Agroecotechnology Association (Perkumpulan Agroteknologi/Agroekoteknologi Indonesia – PAGI) to enhance editorial standards, peer-review quality, and academic networking across agricultural institutions.
• Digital Infrastructure and DOI: Fully integrated Open Journal Systems (OJS) and assigned Crossref Digital Object Identifiers (DOI prefix: 10.20961/agrotechresj) for all published articles to guarantee long-term digital preservation and global accessibility.
• National Accreditation (SINTA): Received national journal accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, establishing Agrotech Res J as a recognized venue for scientific dissemination.
• Indexing and Reach: Expanded readership through indexing in Google Scholar, GARUDA, Crossref, Dimensions, and citation tracking in Scopus secondary documents.

Agrotechnology Research Journal continuously welcomes original research articles and critical reviews from scholars, researchers, and professionals.
