ANALISIS POTENSI SEKTOR PERTANIAN, KEHUTANAN, DAN PERIKANAN DALAM PEREKONOMIAN DI KABUPATEN PEMALANG

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential of the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector in 2015-2019 based on the pattern and structure of growth, basis or non-base, priority sectors in the future, changes and shifts in the economic sector, and determination of leading sectors. The basic research method is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The research location is Pemalang Regency because the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sectors have the largest contribution to GRDP but the growth rate ranks 16th out of 17 economic sectors that make up GRDP. The data used is secondary data. The data analysis used is (1) Klassen Typology analysis, (2) Location Quotient and Delta Location Quotient analysis, (3) Shift Share analysis, (4) Overlay analysis. The results of the research on the agricultural, forestry, and fishery sectors based on Klassen's typology analysis are developed and rapidly growing sectors. Based on Location Quotient analysis, the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sectors are classified as basic sectors. Based on the combination of LQ and Delta LQ, the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors are categorized as Stars. Based on Shift Share analysis, the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sectors experienced a total increase of IDR 445,594.48 million rupiah. National share is positive, Industrial Mix is negative, and Regional Share is positive. Overlay Analysis Results, Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Sector is a sector that has the opportunity to become a leading or priority sector in Pemalang Regency because it has a coefficient (+ + -).
