Workshop dan pendampingan desain pembelajaran IPAS berbasis multimedia interaktif bagi guru sekolah dasar untuk mendukung SDGs 4
Abstract
The nationwide provision of Interactive Flat Panels (IFP) to Indonesian primary schools has not been matched by teachers’ capacity to design technology-integrated learning. This community service program aimed to improve primary school teachers’ competence in designing natural and social science (IPAS) learning supported by interactive multimedia, as a contribution to SDG 4 (quality education) and SDG 17 (partnerships for the goals). The program involved 25 teachers at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Kadipiro Surakarta and used a collaborative approach in three stages: pre-training (needs analysis and focus group discussion), implementation (a workshop combining expert presentation, demonstration and hands-on practice, followed by three weeks of hybrid mentoring), and program evaluation (pre-test, post-test, response questionnaire and monitoring). The mean competence score increased from 65 to 84 (N-gain 0.54, moderate category), with the largest gain in theoretical understanding of instructional design. Teachers produced Genially-based interactive multimedia that integrates visual simulation with gamified formative assessment, and 84% reported greater confidence in using digital platforms in daily teaching. Peer tutoring between younger and senior teachers effectively reduced the gap in basic IT skills. A structured workshop followed by sustained mentoring is an effective model for strengthening technology integration in primary IPAS learning.
