PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ARGO (AUGMENTED REALITY OF GEOMETRIC OBJECTS) PADA MATERI BANGUN RUANG SISI DATAR DI SMP NEGERI 3 BATANG

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the development of ARGOlearning media on three-dimensional flat-sided shapes; (2) determine the validity of ARGO; (3) observe the practicality of ARGO; (4) examine the effectiveness of ARGO.This studydraws on the Research and Development, employing the ADDIE model which consists of several phases, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instruments used in this research were material and media expert assessment questionnaire to determine the level of validity of ARGO,user response questionnaire to determine the practicality of ARGO, and learning outcomes test to determine the effectiveness of ARGO. The results indicate that ARGO was valid for learning purposes with the results of the assessment by material expertsreach average score of 3,72 whichis very good. The results of validity assessment by media expertsreach average score of 3,63 which is very good.The user response questionnaire assessment by teacher reaches average score of  4 which is very good. The results of user response by students reach average score of 3,45 which is very good. To determine the effectiveness of ARGO, a learning outcome test was conducted and through the t-test.It shows that the average score of students in experimental class better than the average value of students in control class. It can be concluded that ARGO learning media is valid, practical, and effective for mathematics learning on flat-sided geometry.
