Based on the DECISION OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF HIGHER EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND TECHNOLOGY, MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, CULTURE, RESEARCH, AND TECHNOLOGY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA NUMBER 177/E/KPT/2024, concerning the Ranking of Scientific Journals Accreditation for the Second Period of 2024, the journal GeoEco has been upgraded from Sinta 3 to Sinta 2.

As a result of this upgrade, the journal has adjusted its publication fee to IDR 1,500,000. The increase in the publication fee is intended to support the improvement and enhancement of the journal’s quality. This includes better management, editorial processes, and the provision of necessary infrastructure to ensure the publication of high-quality articles.

This move reflects GeoEco's commitment to maintaining high academic standards and making a positive contribution to the development of knowledge in the fields of geography and ecology, in line with its upgraded accreditation status.

Regarding the Increase in the Accreditation Ranking of the GeoEco Journal

Based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 177/E/KPT/2024 concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals Period II of 2024, we are proud to announce that the GeoEco Journal has successfully increased its ranking from Sinta 3 to Sinta 2 (Link: https://arjuna.kemdikbud.go.id/#/pengumuman/678)

This increase in ranking results from continuous efforts to maintain the quality of scientific publications and contributions to the development of science, especially in education, geography and the environment. We would like to thank all contributors, editorial boards, reviewers, and all parties who have supported our efforts to achieve this achievement.

With this achievement, we hope that the GeoEco Journal can continue to play an active role in the dissemination of quality science and positively impact the progress of research in Indonesia and the international world.
