This paper discusses the creative process of designing a contemporary batik pattern with the source of the idea of space invaders. Contemporary batik became the design foundation because contemporary batik design opens up new possibilities in the development of batik. The visual idea is taken and realized as a contemporary batik pattern and applied to teenage boy's clothing with the technical production process namely batik stamp.
