Abstract

One of the implementations of public policy by the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia is providing public services which are realized in the form of a Police Record Certificate (SKCK) issuance service. The aim of developing the SKCK Online Application is as an effort to improve police performance, especially in the field of police information technology, as a means of facilitating the creation of SKCKs and providing information in issuing SKCKs to the public, and the substantial aim of public service or service to the community is community satisfaction. However, in the implementation of the online SKCK publishing policy, several problems were still found, making this policy unable to work as it should. The problems found in the field are the reason why this policy is interesting to research, so that it is known how the online SKCK publishing policy is implemented. Based on the description above, the research method used is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive research type. The location of the research was the South Sumatra Regional Police, which has 17 police stations and 159 police stations. in November 2022. The data collection technique used in this research is in-depth interviews with National Police officials and members both as policy implementers and as SKCK service officers/SKCK Operators, Saucy Application Operators, fingerprint formulating officers and other parties including the public as SKCK applicants those at the SKCK service location also examine data, documents, reports, documentation.
