PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN MINYAK IKAN TUNA DALAM RANSUM BASAL TERHADAP PERFORMAN AYAM BROILER
Abstract
Broiler chicken is the term given to the cultivation of technology that have several advantages that rapid growth and harvested in 5 weeks. One of the efforts to optimize the growth of broiler chickens is to add a feed source of energy in the ration.
This research was conducted in the village of Gledeg, Karanganom, Klaten regency began November 12 until December 13, 2014 and the study lasted 32 days. The material used is broiler unsex 1 week old Hubbard strain as much as 105 birds. The feed material used consisted of laying ducks concentrates, bran, yellow corn, premix and tuna fish oil.
Results of variance analysis showed that feed consumption was significantly different (P < 0.05). While the daily body weight gain, feed conversion and slaughter weight did not differ significantly (P > 0.05). Average feed consumption 100,19 g/head/day. The average daily weight gain 56,45 g/head/day. Average feed conversion 1,75. The average slaughter weight 1406,7 g/head. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study that the addition of tuna fish oil at the level of 2% decrease feed consumption and have not been able to improve body weight gain, feed conversion and slaughter weight.
