PENYULUHAN BIJAK PENGGUNAAN PESTISIDA KIMIA DAN PEMBUATAN PESTISIDA NABATI PADA PETANI DI DESA TRUWOLU KABUPATEN GROBOGAN

Abstract

The service activities carried out are in the form of agricultural counseling which aims to provide knowledge and make farmers in Truwolu Village aware of being wise in using chemical pesticides and starting to slowly use vegetable pesticides in controlling plant pest organisms (OPT). The implementation of this extension activity is supported by the Truwolu Village Government, Truwolu Village Independent Agricultural Extension Officers, and OPT Control Officers from the Ngaringan District Agriculture Service. This extension activity was carried out using lecture and discussion methods as well as a demonstration of making vegetable pesticides. The participation and enthusiasm of the participants who were representative farmers from each farmer group in Truwolu Village was very good. The impact of this extension activity is increasing the knowledge of Truwolu Village farmers regarding the wise use of chemical pesticides and the start of using botanical pesticides on plants. Outreach activities regarding the wise use of chemical pesticides and the manufacture of vegetable pesticides to the farmers of Truwolu Village are very useful and are expected to be carried out in a sustainable manner. The final result expected from this outreach is the creation of sustainable organic farming in Truwolu Village, starting with the use of vegetable pesticides.
